Dogs Make Me Smile
I've shared my life with dogs for as long as I can remember, and I simply can't imagine being without them. Over the years I've owned both a mixed-breed dog and a West Highland Terrier, and today I'm the proud owner of my second Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla. Together we enjoy a little agility and scent work training. I have experienced the joys, trials, tribulations and heartache of dog ownership.
My dog grooming journey began in January 2016 with a 10-week evening course. Inspired to learn more, I went on to achieve the City & Guilds Level 2 Dog Grooming Assistant qualification, followed by the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming, graduating with Distinction. I am perfectly placed to discuss the most suitable type of groom for your dog.
I provide a full range of 1:1 grooming services tailored to your dog's individual needs. Whether you're looking for a breed-standard trim, wash and style, hand stripping, de-shedding treatment, or simply a good old-fashioned bath, I'm here to help. I also offer nail trims, face and feet tidies, and other maintenance treatments.
I also offer socialisation sessions for puppies and rescue dogs. I believe in creating a calm, positive grooming experience and enjoy helping dogs become comfortable and confident with the grooming process.
To ensure every dog receives the best possible care, I use a range of Mutneys Professional Pet Care shampoos and grooming products, carefully selected to suit your dog's individual skin and coat requirements. If your dog has a preferred shampoo, you're welcome to bring it along for their appointment.
I am certified in Pet First Aid Emergency Care, giving you added peace of mind your dog is in safe and knowledgeable hands.
I also have a microchip scanner and am happy to assist if you've found a lost pet and hope to reunite them with their owner.
